Becoming an AI Engineer | Building AI Products | Follow me and let’s learn AI Product Engineering together |

If you missed our recent talk about building AI products for regulated industries, don't worry! Here are three important points to remember: 1️⃣ Llama 3 is currently the best open-source model available. For a great mix of excellent performance and small memory usage, try the enterprise-ready quantized version called TitanML/Meta-Llama-3-8B-AWQ-4bit on HuggingFace. 😊 2️⃣ If you want to use self-hosted models in an enterprise setting, TitanML is an excellent choice. Building everything from scratch just to get a basic "Hello World" program in an enterprise environment can be challenging. Companies can save time and effort by using TitanML. 3️⃣ Haystack (by deepset) and LangChain are fantastic tools for creating reliable AI applications. Don't believe the hype that says we don't need frameworks. I'm a big fan of Haystack (thanks to Tuana Çelik for converting me). 4️⃣ Extra: Don't forget to always test using Evidently AI . Thank you, 🟢 Amir Feizpour for inviting me and the aggregate intellect community members to participate! And Abi for connecting us. Let's continue to create AI products that are reliable, safe, compliant, and can be hosted locally!

What are some of the considerations for deploying #LLMs at regulated industry enterprises. Rod Rivera spoke about this at our latest LLM Workshop 🟢 Choosing the right models for enterprise applications: ⃝ It's generally recommended to use a combination of multiple models rather than just one. ⃝ Open source models like LaMDA 3 are becoming increasingly competitive with closed-source options. ⃝ Consider factors like cost, ease of use, and vendor lock-in when choosing models. 🟢 Building enterprise AI applications: ⃝ There are challenges associated with using open-source models in production environments, such as the need for additional development work. ⃝ Frameworks like Haystack and Lagom are becoming common tools for building and testing enterprise AI applications. 🟢 Deploying enterprise AI applications: ⃝ Self-hosting models can be difficult and expensive, especially for large deployments. ⃝ Cloud-based solutions like Hugging Face AI and Vertex AI offer an alternative approach. ⃝ Consider using tools like Titan Email that provide pre-built infrastructure for deploying generative AI models. 🟢 Enterprise use cases for generative AI: ⃝ While there is a lot of excitement around applications like chatbots and virtual assistants, the most common enterprise use case is currently search, specifically making it easier for users to find information within the company's data. https://lnkd.in/ehfRvjav

We just compared LLaMa3 🦙 on Titan Takeoff vs GPT3.5-turbo 🤖, and the results were super interesting. LLaMa3 is faster plus you have more control! Do you want to test LLaMa3 🦙? Reach out! We will send you a free trial license for Titan Takeoff so you can also start working with LLaMa3 🦙. LLaMa3 🦙runs on a consumer-grade GPU like the NVIDIA 4090 💻. On the other hand, the hardware behind GPT3.5-turbo remains undisclosed 🤫. What's fascinating is that both models offer similar output quality ✅, despite the difference in hardware accessibility. However, LLaMa3 🦙 has a notable advantage in terms of speed ⚡ and user control 🎮. For businesses 💼 and developers 👨💻 looking to integrate AI language models into their products or services, LLaMa3 🦙is the most compelling choice.

We just had our talk at the AI Summit, where Meryem shared tips, tricks, and techniques for deploying LLMs. It was a fantastic experience, and we learned a lot from the questions and comments we received over the past few days. 💬 Key takeaways: - Many companies are still in the prototype stage and are just starting to look at getting into production. 🌱 - Serving LLMs is a top priority for those moving into the production stage. 🎯 - The level of education and expertise in serving LLMs is still relatively new and developing. 📚 It was a pleasure to educate the group on what we believe are the best practices for deploying LLMs. As more organizations begin to adopt this technology, it's crucial to share knowledge and insights to help everyone succeed. 🌍
